Buena Vista has begun a new strategy for outreach. It’s called G.R.O.W. This simply means that God Rewards Our Work. There is a different team that meets once a month to do visitation, make phone calls, send out letters, or whatever else needs to be done to reach people for Christ. Our objective is to grow the Kingdom of God. We believe that our church will be blessed with spiritual and numerical growth as a result. Teams meet every Monday evening at 6:15pm. Assignments are made and we go to work. If you would like to learn more about G.R.O.W. we invite to come check it out any Monday evening. Maybe God is leading you to be a part of this vital ministry at Buena Vista.
Our visitation program meets on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the church foyer. Everyone is welcome to come be a soul-winning witness for the Lord! This is a great time to share what the Lord has done in your life and to meet the needs of members of the community.
Our church also supports and participates in foreign ministry through our Baptist association. We have sent and supported trips to Brazil, Russia, Germany, and more. This summer, members of the church will be traveling to Honduras to share the gospel. From local to worldwide, there are many opportunities to share your faith with others.
