The BVBC Deacon Ministry is committed that every person in our church experiences the love and support of the whole congregation. The men serving as deacons have dedicated their lives before God and join the pastor and church staff in ministering to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each church member and family. You may be wondering what a Deacon Ministry can do for you?
Deacon Ministry Purpose Statement: "To be faithful servants of the church, supporting our pastor and caring for the physical and spiritual needs of the body." We accomplish this ministry by:
• Visiting
Each deacon wants to get acquainted with you and your family.
• Being a Friend
Each deacon wants you to know they care and would welcome the opportunity to listen to your concerns.
• Answering Questions About Your Faith
The deacons will try to find the answers for you if you have questions about your faith.
• Helping You Find Ways To Serve
Our deacons will watch for opportunities for you to use the talents, skills, and abilities God has given you.
• Praying For and With You
Believing that you are important and believing in the power of prayer, the deacons will join with the pastor in praying for you and each member of your family.
